Well.. I've gone insane.

Attachments are now uncapped to 80MB, 60 attachments per post, and 2x10MB attachments in private messaging.

Also, increased the per user caps.

Extreme - 3096 MB
High - 1536 MB
Medium - 768 MB
Low - 384 MB

Everyone starts at low, but I'll increase your cap as need be (of course, I'm at extreme since I'm >1/2 way to high already).

Tested 75MB attachment without issue (really.. just wait a really long time).

Check this shit out!

The gallerymod to go with the expanded attachments is nearly complete, check out this little video demo I put togethor.

It currently only works in mozilla if you're trying to type in the url to tool around yourself. Well it works in IE, but IE doesn't support the max-width and max-height properties I'm using to resize the pictures, so it's waaay too big. That'll be fixed shortly (server side resizing to thumbnails).

Stage 2 will be to make it AJAX based.. sounds techincal no? All it means is that it will load the medium size versions (the preview window) dynamically, but that's no big deal for us broadband users, the ajax version will just make page loads a touch quicker.

Also, clicking on the thumbnail image OR the preview image will popup the full size image just like it does with normal image attachments.
