The demo is out there and is hitting steam on the 16th. Very simple game yet with deep tactical and strategic thinking. You simply load up various starship hulls with weapons, engines, shields and the like then assemble them into a formation and click on "fight". At this point you just sit back and watch your creations hand out spectacular looking hot plasma death or die trying.
There's no direct control over the battle itself. Everything you can do is in the preparations before-hand.
